I love abstraction and consider it levels above figurative. It is more poetic, and mysterious and leaves light years for a different interpretation every day. Abstraction is closer to my understanding of art.
That’s why I want to continue to study drawing, nature, and the human figure, to understand better the human – my aesthetics, and the relationships between colour, lines, shapes, and proportions that help me understand the world around me.
And to have a conscious choice: abstraction, figurative or maybe both together?
I want to train neural connections to better understand aesthetics and perception. The brain is not our best friend; it must be forced to cooperate.
And I believe drawing is the smallest, elemental part of art.
